Smashwords Images: Banner Ads

To access the image, two options:

1. Easiest. Right mouse click, then download it to your computer so you can upload it somewhere else.

2. Advanced. If you're good with HTML, right mouse click on the image, then click "Copy Image Location," and that will give you the HTML address you can use to embed the image on your your blog or website without actually having to host it yourself.

To resize the images, or to change them from .gif to another format, it's easy using multiple free image editing software packages.

You can use Paint (comes with all PCs), or download the free Paint.net application.

After you embed the image somewhere, be sure to hyperlink it so when people click the image, it takes them somewhere.

Smashwords authors and publishers are authorized to use these logos and images as they wish to assist in their book marketing efforts.

To resize the images, consider using a free app such as Paint.net.

Smashwords offers widgets on every book page on the Smashwords web site.  Authors, readers and affiliate marketers alike can create customized widgets for off-site marketing.
